Dyke Day LA is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit volunteer organization whose vision is to create community gatherings that center inclusivity.

Most notably, we host an annual day in the park for dykes, queers, and allies that celebrates queers of all genders and ages.

We are sponsor free and rely on funds raised solely from our community.

Your safety is our commitment.

We prioritize the safety and well-being of all attendees, and have safety protocols in place for our event at Sycamore Grove Park this Saturday. These will be posted on our website and around the park day of the event.

Our trained security team, whom we work with annually, will be on site throughout the duration of the event and are equipped to handle emergencies and de-escalation.

In case of emergency, updates and instructions will be communicated via loudspeakers. A clearly marked first aid tent will be ready to provide immediate medical attention, which is located by our info table to the left of the stage.

Our DDLA staff, identifiable by "staff" lanyards, will be available to address any concerns. You can spot them stationed around the park with walkie-talkies for quick communication.

In the unlikely event of an emergency, our exit safety plan is designed to keep you safe:

1. Disperse Outwardly: Given the park's open layout, attendees should swiftly move away from the event center along the marked park paths toward Figueroa St.

2. Follow Directions: Our staff and security will guide orderly dispersal, ensuring everyone can exit safely without crowding.

3. Support: We're committed to everyone's safety. Our staff will be ready to assist anyone needing help during the dispersal process.

Your safety is our commitment so we can all enjoy a day of celebration and pride!
